Permanent Makeup 50 clock hours / License by Registration - Continuing Education
A current license as a cosmetologist, skin care specialist, or tattoo artist is required to take this course. For further information on how to become a tattoo artist click here. This class is designed to further your previous knowledge in the industry and to enhance your marketability. Permanent cosmetic tattooing (micropigmentation) allows you to fully explore your creative and technical skills. As a licensed professional, clients will depend on your guidance as you perform permanent cosmetic procedures to enhance their features. By tutoring students to master the feathering/brushstroke approach, they can learn to implant pigment in a way that achieves a desirable, modern and multigenerational outcome.
These permanent makeup courses allow you to receive individualized, attentive instruction from a seasoned educator. You will practice techniques in lip definition and full lip color, eyeliner and eyebrows. Advanced procedures in scar camouflage, color correction and theory in pigment removal instruction can open the door to an even larger clientele.
At Boca Beauty Academy, you’ll practice your permanent makeup techniques on live models. In addition, you can learn the rules and regulations needed to perform permanent cosmetics, business marketing, the availability of legal disclosure documents and insurance coverage applications, safety and sanitation procedures, and client consultation techniques.
Prior to commencing the training you must submit the required Blood-Borne Pathogen and Communicable Diseases examination and application to register for licensure. Upon graduation from our makeup training program, a diploma will be awarded.
